Situated in the South of England the I.O.W. is not far from Southampton Airport, a little over two hours by train/fastcat from central London.

Operated by Kim whose career in Marine Communications is second to none. Kim has worked as a Radio Officer at Portishead radio, Northforeland radio, Niton Radio and with Holland America onboard the S.S.Rotterdam. Kim has taught and examined GMDSS at the UKSA, Blue Water (Antibes/Majorca), was the senior lecturer for communications at Warsash Maritime Academy, and spent seven years as the radio trainer/subject matter expert for the RNLI.

Kim continues to work be available as an examiner for the the RNLI, UKSA, Chieftan training and Southampton solent University/ Warsash.

Our philosophy on communications training is to keep it simple, and to provide an easy friendly atmosphere where jargon and theory are kept to a minimum. We work hard to provide low costs, best value radio training, leave you with a good understanding of radio
and to maintain our 100% pass rate for the  MCA, GOC, ROC, and LRC courses

Kim is  an MCA GMDSS Radio Examiner.
